I was stunned to find out today that Billy had recently left us. During the 1994-95 school year I was one of Billy's teachers for my first year teaching at Scott High School in Taylor Mill. What an awesome kid, and my life became much richer after he entered it. He was best buddies with Tony Viscuso (who passed away in 1996) and they were pretty much inseparable at school each day. I am not sure that I will ever meet a nicer person than Billy Bach. Billy being a Steelers fan made me happy, but I could never get Billy to convert to being a Cincinnati Bearcats basketball fan! He was UK Big Blue through and through. Catch you later Billy Bach and please tell Tony that I said hello.
