Obituary of William "Billy" Bach

William “Billy” Bach, passed away unexpectedly on September 3rd, 2023 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center at the age of 45. Billy was born to Robert Bach on October 18th, 1977 in Covington, KY. At the time of his passing, he had 25 years of employment under his belt working on assembly with New Perceptions in Edgewood, KY. 

Billy made everyone’s life better just by knowing him. He was a social butterfly with a vibrant soul. He was kind and helpful, yet feisty and strong willed. When Billy was born, he was given the nickname “Tiger” due to his fighting spirit. A diehard Steelers fan, Billy never missed a game and wouldn’t answer the phone during one either. He made bets that the Steelers would beat the Bengals and he typically won the bets. The loser would have to wear Billy’s personalized Steelers #7 jersey. 

In his free time, Billy loved to paint, make wire sculptures, and practice woodburning, all with his friend Peggy Kendall. Billy also really loved being “one of the boys” and his fondest memory is the boys’ trip he took with his dad, brothers, and nephew to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to go to a Steelers game. Shooting guns, hunting, and four wheeling were also activities he enjoyed doing with the boys, but one of Billy’s favorite things to do was help out on the family farm.  

Billy is survived by his father, Robert Bach; siblings Mary Bach, Greg (Melanie) Bach, Mike Bach, Robin (John) Domaschko, Ronnie (Danna) Bach, Missy Kleinwachter, Timmy Bach, Tabby Bach, and Hollie Spegal; multiple nieces and nephews whom he adored, several great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and two pets Roscoe and Cotton, all of whom will miss him greatly.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Helen Bach.  

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pk. Independence, KY. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Immediately following the service, Billy will be laid to rest at St. Cecilia Cemetery.
