As I lay awake at night, not able to fall asleep, I think about all the amazing and fun things we did as a family. All the adventures and all the exploring of different areas we did with dad and mom. We explored the Lewis and Clark Caverns, Red River Gorge, Mammoth Caves, and Bear Country! We saw Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park and swam in the warm waters of Chico Hot springs. We rode rollercoasters and amusement rides at the Mall of America, Six Flags, and Kings Island. We also had a wonderful weekend at Great wolf lodge. One of the funniest and amazing memories however, was when we arrived at my parents’ house to find a “habitrail” made of very large Hunter Engineering boxes that the kids (big and small) crawled around in pretty much the entire day! It makes me very sad knowing that even with all these wonderful memories of adventure, excitement, and exploring…. There is still a ton of options just waiting to be enjoyed that we will not be able to share with the amazing and wonderful man that was my father.
