I see the countless Christmas trees Around the world below, With tiny lights like heaven's stars Reflecting in the snow. The sight is so spectacular Please wipe away that tear For I'm spending Christmas With Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs That people hold so dear But earthly music can't compare With the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you The joy their voices bring For it's beyond description To hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, Trust God and have no fear For I'm spending Christmas With Jesus Christ this year. I can't tell you of the splendor Or the peace here in this place. Can you imagine Christmas With our Savior, face to face? May God uplift your spirit As I tell Him of your love Then pray for one another As you lift your eyes above. So let your hearts be joyful And let your spirits sing For I'm spending Christmas in Heaven And I'm walking with the king! *WE LOVE YOU SHIRLEY AND MISS YOU SO MUCH.. LOVE,GARY , MICHELLE , BREANNA & ALYSSA PYLES

Shirley will be sadly missed by us. Our hearts go out to you, the family members. Shirley was one of the greatest inspirations to me in my walk with Jesus. I will never forget her wonderful love and praises for Jesus. I just knew Jesus would heal her and I was stunned when she passed away. After praying and mourning her passing, I realized He did heal her completely - not my way but His way. I know she is so happy and singing with the angels now. But I will cry for her for a long time. We love you all and send our prayers in your time of sadness.

Words cannot express the grief we feel at Shirley's passing. She was a light in our lives that will never be duplicated. I can only imagine the look on her face when she met our Father. What a beautiful moment that had to have been. My heart and prayers are with her family, to find peace in this time.

Dear Family, It is hard for me to express the deep sadness I have felt at Shirley's passing. She had an incredible influence on me throughout our years at BPYC. I miss those times and I will deeply miss Shirley and your family. I am sorry we were unable to attend the services for Sister Shirley, due to sickness. Our children, Jacob, Elliott and Destiny have also express their sadness and condolences and had hoped they could come for the service as well. Be Strong, know that Shirley is always with you as she now resides with the Master. We Love You ALL and we will continue to keep you in our hearts and prayers.

Dave and family, We along with you and many others have prayed for your wife and our Dear Sister Shirley's healing. To me, if anyone could ever deserve healing it would have been Shirley. But, as you know, God has higher plans and though we now look through that glass darkly, one day we will see and understand why. May the Lord keep all of you, in peace, during this trying time.

Schoonover Family, The Lord led me to write this at 2:30 in the mourning last night. It all came from Hebrews 11. I hope that it blesses you the way that it blessed me. I love you all so very much and will keep you in my prayers. Sister Shirley "Faith" Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. She died in faith; not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and as persuaded of them and embraced them, and confessed that she was a stranger and pilgrim on the earth. She sought a country, but now she desires a better country that is heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called her God. For he hath prepared for her a city. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of this world. She waited for Gods reward. Of her the world was not worthy and Sister Shirley, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise. God having foreseen some better thing for her.

Brother David and children, Let us quote from a well known passage in the Bible "For who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Truly, the Lord blessed us with Sister Shirley, a woman who led at Community Pentecostal Church with integrity, discipline, and giftedness, not because of her position, but because this is who she was. We thank the Lord to have known her our past 11 years at CPC. We have been blessed. May the Lord bless and keep all of you in His tender mercies is our prayer. Sincerely, Elmer and Sue Payne

I know that the sun has gone out of your life and you don't know how you will make it from day to day. There is only one way; with God by your side constantly. He is with you constantly, and never leaves you. He promised us this. When you feel the pain is too much to bear, remember that God can get you through anything. When we're too weak to walk, he carries us. David, I know that you will cherish and guide your children in the ways that Shirley would have wanted. You and the children will make her very proud. Through prayer and a lot of time, the pain will lessen, but the love only grows stronger. Kelly, Matthew and I understand your pain, and through our prayers are sending you all of our hope and strength to help you through this time of terrible loss.

My heart goes out to Sister Shirley's family and dear friends. I did not know Shirley very well, but I always felt the presence of the Holy Spirit around her. She had such a servants heart and making Jesus smile was something she was very good at. I always enjoyed hearing her speak at church. She possessed such an anointing and the power of faith radiated off of her, even during her illness. What a legacy to leave behind. My prayer for her children is to follow in her footsteps. She has prayed for God's direction in each of your lives, just as we mother's do. Keep the faith! David, may God give you wisdom and guidance through these most difficult times. Love and Prayers to all of you. Love the Coomers

David & Children, With great sorrow I write to you!!! Shirley lived with my sister, "Janice" for many years and she became like family to me... What a gracious Christain Lady she was... Her Faith was greater than the ordinary Christain could ever muster up!!! Today I sit pondering, with my faith questioned, wondering with such great faith why was she taken from us??? However she is face to face with Jesus and understands all that is not clear to us!!! I can her her say, "Don't let your faith be shaken, you do not know what is prepared for you"... While laying in the hospital sometime ago in very bad shape myself, I could only pray for Shirley and hoped it would become the church's finest hour to see Shirley healed... It didn't happen the way we wanted it to, but I can tell you she is with Jesus and she knows no pain or suffering!!! To you her children, keep the faith become strong mighty warriors for the Lord, your mother would have wanted it no other way!!! Keep her lamp burning!!! David, I pray you find the extra strength, peace, and wisdom you need to guide your family from day to day!!! May God's face always shine upon you and give you peace!!! Love to all of you, Pamela Rust

I can't even express the sadness I feel, Sis. Shirley was like a second mom to me. I remember going on field trips together while we were homeschooling. Amberly, do you remember sitting in the back of the red astro van doing crossword puzzels on the way to Frankfurt? She was there for me when my mom was in the hospital and continuely helped me stay strong in the Lord. She had more love then any person I have ever known and will continue to be a role model for me. I love you guys and will be praying for you. Amberly-you will always be my little sis, I love you.

Sis.Shirley--I will miss you dearly. I will never forget our late nights in the Bates's basement when you were living with them. You taught Brenda & I alot about Womanly Godly living. You put up with us two little kids even though we got into all your stuff!:)I will never forget our 30 days together in Haiti in 1985 at Christmas time. We had so much fun, and laughs. I always loved your smile, so unique. I had a dream the night before you went home to be with our Lord that I told you how happy you were going to be in heaven. I said I knew because Melissa was freed with Happiness,Joy, Peace AND Healing. In my dream I also asked you to please tell Melissa that her family loves her and can't wait to be with her again in heaven, home. I know Melissa was happy to see you walk through the pearly gates with that beautiful smile of yours. We love you very much and I will always keep dear in my heart ALL the years of Godly teaching I learned from you. David and children: The only Peace you will find is in God. We are always here for you, and understand what you are going through. We love you all. The Biery's
