My Grannie was a wonderful woman. I have so many stories that I can tell, but what I will always remember the most about her is that she was always there for us, in good times or bad. She was always supportive even if she didn't agree with my decision. One of my most favorite memories was when we would go down to visit sometimes, we would all be sitting around the kitchen table, just talking and visiting, usually we were all dressed to hit the pool, Papaw would be sitting in his usual spot, the kitchen chair with his back to the door, just listening to what we all had to say, and Grannie would say, I got a joke to tell you. Well Papaw always assumed that Grannie was gonna tell us a naughty joke, and most of the time they were naughty. He would get up out of his chair and say well let me get in the other room before you tell it, and he would head into the family room and Grannie would tell us her joke. And like I said most of the time her jokes were a little on the naughty side, but she loved telling them. Grannie was a wonderful woman and I will miss her with all my heart, but I will never forget her. I love you Grannie, and I am happy that you and Papaw are together again, I know that he has missed you.
