Obituary of Manuel Spencer

Manuel "Ray" Spencer, age 70 of Independence, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011at St. Elizabeth Health Care of Florence. He was a retired History Teacher at Twenhofel Middle School. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Crum Spencer in 2010. Ray is survived by daughter, Jennifer Spencer Kelly of Independence, mother, Irene Smith of Covington, brother, Lowell Spencer of Walton, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2011at Chambers & Grubbs Independence from 3-6 pm. Memorial service will take place Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11 am. at Ky. Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Ky.
