Dear Joyce and family, My hearfelt condolences to all of you. Ken Cole was so much more than a pastor to me. He was a mentor, friend, role model, and great encourager. I was blessed to serve with him at Russell Cave, and when I left for another ministry opportunity, it was with his blessings and encouragement.

Chuck My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your Brother. "King Cole" was one of my all-time idols. He, his teammates, his coach all served as the foundation of my coaching philosophy that carried me for 38 years. I even copied the numbering system used on their uniforms. In addition, Ole number "22" was my guest speaker at four of my banquets. Chuck, I wish I could be there tomorrow but I had a stroke last fall and I haven't been getting out much. I still think you and Bill Tieman were nicer than everybody gave you credit for. Bud Wenderoth

To the Entire Cole Family, We heard a lot about Pop over the last few years from Carol. He's helped build a remarkable foundation in each of you, our guess is you'll find him, or memories of him, in the smallest things all of which will make you all stronger. Jay and Anne Paterson

Dear David, Brooke, McKinley, Quentin and all of the dear Cole Family, We were blessed to know "Pop Cole" as extended family. Starting on the day he married his son David to my sister Brooke, it was a beautiful day that would soon become beautiful year together for all of us. What a privilege to know Reverand Cole, he touched so many lives. To David, take comfort, for now you have two Heavenly Fathers.

Dear family; I love the photo you chose and can almost see Bro Cole reacting in this same look as he enters the gates of heaven.:-) You are all in my prayers as you learn to live without your precious father, and husband and grandfather. I also know you rejoice in the bittersweet letting go and Bro Cole being received at the gates of heaven. It does bring peace knowing he is where he spent his life yearning to be.

Glenn, Kelly, Carol, David and Steven - I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad had much to be proud of in all of your accomplishments. You're such a strong family I know that you'll get your Mom and each other through this - you know better than I what a wonderful place he's gone to. Stay strong and accept the help offered by others, including me. Peace.

CM and Cynthia Cole made a donation to First Baptist Church of Walton
Joy -- Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You and Ken were a major influence on my life, and you helped shape me into what I am today. Even though we have all lost Ken, I know he is now laughing and shouting with joy as he is reunited with Uncle Walton and Aunt Inis in the presence of our glorious God. One of these days we will all be together again in Heaven, and what a wonderful time that will be. Our love to you. CM and Cynthia
