Just received the notice on your father's death. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was a great guy, kind, and always friendly. Everyone in the old neighborhood liked him so much. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers and thoughts go out to your entire family.

Hello, my long lost family. I am so sorry to hear about your DAD. Your MOM and DAD were a very big part of mine and Buddys lives when we were all growing up. My deepest sympathy to each and everyone of you, and my love. It was very hard on me when I lost my parents, so I know how you feel. Remember one day at a time, and when you want to cry go ahead and do it. Sometimes it is the only thing that helps, and you have each other. Please be there for each other. One of you are my God-child by the way, and that would be John. One of my favorite memories of Uncle Eddie [and that is what we called him and Gene both] was he was the first one to give me something for my hope chest [a set of silverware,that was beautiful, and we used it, too]. We really used to have a lot of fun at the lake, too. I live on Bullock Pen Lake now. Miss all of you, and you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Just remember he is not in pain anymore. While working for the Kroger liquor stores I was asked to help out at the Independence Ky kroger liquor store. That is where I met Ed. I also found out Ed and his wife, Jean, are very good friends with people I work with at the ft Mitchell Kroger store, Doris and Jack Ernest. Ed and Jean would spend a lot of socializing and traveling with Doris and Jack and they would visit our store and I saw a great friendship. After Ed retired he always came to our store to visit Doris and buy his case of white Zinfandel. Last week Ed visited and I could see he was not in the best of health. Ed will be missed!!
