Obituary of John Rider

John "Bo" Robert Rider, 87 of Demossville, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013. Bo was a retired machinist for Ford Motor Co. He was a US Army WWII veteran and former member of the UAW. Bo enjoyed woodworking, homebuilding, remodeling and farming. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Beulah Arthur Rider and grandson, Gary Florence. He is survived by daughters, Rozanna Brandenburg, LaDonna(Willard)Perry, Patricia(Dave)Slusser and Beverly(Dan)Clark. Sisters, Delores Click and Lill Elliott, brother William Rider, grandchildren, Theresa Horton, Steve Florence, Tina Harmon, Gina Groeschen, David Slusser, John Slusser, Kristina Slusser, Rob Clark and Tom Clark, great-grandchildren Lena Horton, Curtis Harmon, Anthony Groeschen, Haley Groeschen, Ava Slusser, Madison Slusser, Taylor Clark, Aubrey Clark and Gavin Clark and step-great-grandchild Kyndal Cassini. Services will be at Chambers & Grubbs Independence on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Visitation will be from 10 AM till 12 Noon with the funeral ceremony immediately following. Burial will take place with military honors at Independence Cemetery.
