Obituary of Tommy Blanton

Tommy Dean Blanton, Jr., 36, of Covington passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was a cable installer who enjoyed music, playing guitar and singing with his brother Nick and family. He was preceded in death by his grandma Judy Lanser and uncle Lawrence Lanser. Survivors include his children Natasha Blanton and Kyle Westbrook; parents Michele (Thomas) Riddle of Covington and Tom (Sally) Blanton, Sr. of Albuquerque, NM; sisters Christine (Valerie) Blanton of Cincinnati and Clarie Blanton of Albuquerque, NM; brothers Nick and Alex Blanton of Washington, D.C.; grandpa Urban Lanser, Sr.; maternal aunts and uncles Patricia Keilholz, Urban Lanser, Jr., Jacqueline Mounce, Carole Haynes, paternal aunts and uncles Sheila Smith, Ted, Terry and Chuck Blanton; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 5:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM.
