When I was a little girl, I didn't see Tommy very often, so every time he came over he had to win me back. I remember one day when Tommy came through the front door, tall and scary I thought he was because I was a little girl, well he bent down to give me a hug. I wouldn't give him a hug though so he pulled a mcdonalds toy from behind his back, he knew he would have to bribe me, and my eyes lit up. He said I could have the toy if I gave him a hug, so I gave him a big hug and he let me run away with the toy. :)

I first met Tommy when he was a child,
A very handsome lad and he was not wild.
A fair complexion and a heart full of love,
A sweet disposition and as gentle as a dove.
I loved that little guy right from the start,
We spent time together and then had to part.
I met him one time and asked, "Is that you?"
He gave me a big grin and excuses a few
For he looked like a pirate without his big knife,
I laughed and hugged him and wished him a good life.
I watched as sickness took hold of his frame,
I called out to God and mentioned his name.
God reached out to Tommy down thru the years,
And marked his condition and saw all his tears.
A merciful God with love like no other,
Who watched over Tommy like a good mother.

Words cannot express how sorry we are at the loss of such a beloved cousin. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. I lost a cousin and a close friend. I will not forget our times together as we shared our days of growing up. I will always treasure the memories of Tommy and me singing, as we strummed our guitars and how, he would call me when he needed a friend. I'll smile as I remember our laughter's together and the dreams that he shared. Tommy's presence here, will surely be missed but the Lord knows Tommy's purpose on earth was fulfilled and now my cousin has been called to be among His angels. Tommy, we will miss you. His memories will bring us strength, comfort and peace. Our Loving Thoughts, Tim and Carmen

When Tommy was about 3 years old I was in the kitchen with his Mom Mickey and we were making us some lunch...so I decided to make Tommy his sandwich...I can't be sure but I thought it was Peanut Butter and Jelly...and when I got done I cut the sandwich in half cross ways so it would be easier for him to to pick up and eat....well when I gave him the sandwich he looked up at me and started to cry...and kept saying it was broken....I wasn't sure what he was talking about for a few minutes but then realized it was because I cut his sandwich in half....and that boy just was not going to eat a broken sandwich so I had to fix him another one....He quit crying and ate it.....He was something else...I love this child and love his family...He will be greatly missed...

My dearest friend more like my big brother I was so shocked learning of your passing. I thought we had many more yrs together. You were going to give me away at my wedding. I am so sorry your miracle didn't happen. But you know what you were my miracle. You treated me more like an annoying little sister than anyone has. You were the greatest. You still are. You fly extra high because the body you were given just wasn't made big enough or good enough for your big spirit. I will always cherish the moments we had. I will also always cherish the memories of you singing to me when I was sick or feeling down. You were one of a kind. Thank you for loving me and being there always. I will love you too the moon and back forever.
