Bonnie: Once again, please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your mother. What an amazing lady with an incredible legacy that she leaves behind. I didn’t know your mom personally but rather through your stories about her over the years. I know she loved her family and they loved her back! I will never forget the scrumptious red velvet cake she made me one year for the Christmas holidays (I still have the large poinsettia that topped the cake)! I remember hearing of her accomplishments as a senior Olympian. I know that her work ethic was something to be admired having worked outside her home (by choice) well beyond her need to do so because it brought her joy. There is no doubt she touched many lives and made the world a better place. That any of us should be so lucky and blessed to live life so fully, completely and loved by so many. The long goodbye wasn’t long enough. There won’t be any more Monday evenings with mom but your mom will live on in her family. Stories will be told and retold, favorite recipes will he shared, tears will be shed, traditions will be carried forward by children and grandchildren and memories will sustain you. God Bless your mom and your family. May His love give you comfort as you celebrate your mom’s wonderful life. Linda
