Obituary of Ernest Ledford

Ernest Ray Ledford, age 72, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a retired mechanic and a former employee at Q Master in Latonia. Ernie was passionate about cars and motorcycles and he enjoyed racing, showing, and working on them. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Donna L. McMurray Ledford; mother, Nora Helen Ledford of Taylor Mill; brother, Stanley Ledford of Morning View; sisters, Sharon Ledford Myers of Lakeside Park, Bonnie Hacker of Loveland, OH, and Karen Ledford Thompson of Tampa, FL; and several nieces & nephews. A gathering of friends will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence. Friends & associates of Ernie's are encouraged to bring their prized cars to the services in honor of Ernie. Beginning at 5 PM a celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home.
