Place: Thorn Hill Drag Strip Northern KY Action: Drag Racing in the early days Time: 1958 - 1959 Saturday Night Trophy Run Required: Replace Clutch Disk before Trophy Run Actions: 1) Ernie looks for anyone that might have a clutch disk to fit early 50 Chev with Blue Flame 6 Cyl 2) Pit crew (ha ha) removes tranny and old clutch disk to be ready for new clutch disk. 3) Replace original clutch disk and tranny with two bolts and cig lighters (sun went down) 4) Make trophy run - NO TROPHY 5) Stop at White Castle in Covington looking for another drag before going by to Sedamsville Ernie was and will always be in "FIRST PLACE"
