Anna, you.. you helped me simply by being your loving and beautiful self everyday I saw you. Our memories on the bus are ones that I'll never forget. You were and always was one of the most talented artists that I've ever met, and you were a blessing to me and everyone around you. Your smile could light up a room and your eyes were the perfect shade of blue, a shade of blue that was pure shappires that God dipped in the ocean and everything about your presence was nothing but happiness. You were a fantastic friend to me and I will never forget you. I love you and always will. ~Zack Ziege

Anna, i remember a day in 5th grade, we sat on the swings during recess and just talked the entire time, we had a lot in common seeing as we were both the "new girls" that year. We sorta held each other upright during the whole thing. Starting a new school is scary but we helped each other get through it. Once middle school came we got separated for a little bit but senior year met back up at lunch. You sat with me everyday and as well as gym glass. We hated that stupid mile run, we got through it though. We also had a blast at senior dinner dance together and ended up going down by the Levi and taking goofy pictures afterwards. Then on our way to take you home we stop and went through taco bells drive through at 1am in the morning with Britny King and Timmy Boggs and Brian Green. We had a lot of fun that night. I will never forget it, it's once of my favorite memories. Us Piner kids sure did stick together through out the years and i am so thankful for it. I love you Anna and i will never forget the friendship we shared.
Your Good friend, Samantha Arlinghaus

My dear sweet beautiful friend Anna,
You were as beautiful on the inside as you were on the outside. Even the sound of your name was like a beautiful song. You would brighten my day with one sweet smile and cute little wave that you would do. Your smile would light up your face and mine. You would make a bad day better instantly. It isn't just me that felt this way; everyone you touched felt the same way. You were always eager to learn and to help with anything anyone needed…all with that beautiful smile on your face. You will always have a special place in my heart and the heart of many people. I hope you knew how much you were loved now and forever.
Your friend always, Georgeann

Anna,
You were my absolute best friend when we were growing up together. I shared so many memories with you that I will always cherish--I don't even know where to begin. You were always such a great listener, and you were such a patient and loyal friend...you were there fore me at times when no one else was. I remember all of the sleepovers we had when we stayed up ridiculously late telling ghost stories and filming crazy home videos. One of my favorite memories is when we thought we saw the Easter bunny in my backyard the day before Easter, and we tried to convince both of our families that it existed...we were SO sure it was him! You had such an awesome imagination, and the greatest sense of humor. I always loved to go to our art classes together where we got to draw and paint every week; you always cheered me up and we were almost disruptive because we would laugh so hard. You were such a talented artist, and such a generous, loving person. I still have the friendship bracelet you made for me, and the bag of marbles you gave me when I moved away that you'd attached to a note to saying, "Here are some extra marbles in case you ever lose yours!" I love you so much, and I will always cherish our memories together. <3 -Katie

My heart breaks for you. Anna and my Mark went all through school together and I watched her grow right along with him. The last time I saw her was graduation night and I was as proud of her as one of our "Piner" kids as I was my own. She was a beautiful, talented young lady. I am praying for your family. God rest Anna, find peace.

Anna was in my 6th grade science class. I still have a picture she drew for me hanging in my classroom. She was such a sweetheart. I remember her being really interested in art back then and I got information for her to get into the Ascent Arts program. What a wonderful young lady. She will truly be missed.

For the longest time Anna was my lunch buddy in school. Everyday we managed to talk about something new. After she graduated I remember being so excited everytime I was informed that she was coming back to school to visit. It was so nice to catch up and see what cute outfit she had put together each time (she definately had fashion sense). She raved about college and that kept me optimistic for my future after high school. Anna was such a sweet, kind, and dear friend who I will continue to miss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

When we moved into our new home six years ago (2006). We asked Anna if she would draw a picture for us to hang in our new home. She drew us two pictures. One of a Sunflower because she knew I liked sunflowers and a picture of the the hay rack that we have sitting in our field. We hung the pictures in our kitchen and we will always treasure these personal gifts from her. Anna was such a special and talented young lady and we are going to miss her very much. With our deepest love. Uncle Red, Aunt Eva and Tyler.
