My dad would never have a sad face on, He was always smiling, you couldn't get a picture of him NOT smiling, One time we all went on a canoe trip and me and my dad were in the canoe together, he was in the front and I was in the back, we had so many problems that day... There were red spiders on his back.. and i refused to get them off.. LOL. And when the time came where we hit the rock.. we flipped... I lost my shoe and he lost his hat.. and it happened to be my favorite shoe and his favorite hat.. So meantime he is screaming " MY HATTT NOOOOO!!! I WANT MY HAT BACK!!" and me I am bloody murder screaming "MY SHOE!! NOOOOO MY SHOE THATS MY FAVORITE SHOEE!!" and people from a mile away in their canoes heard us... now we laugh about it.. I miss him so much and wish I had him back. I LOVE YOU DAD. REST IN PEACE

When I started at Citi Tom was the one who hired me. I wasn't on his team then but we became friends and he was always there to help me adjust to the job. He told me the day he hired me that I was really over qualified to be on the phones and that I should be at the TCC Desk. It was a destiny he saw long before I did because a short time later I did advance to the TCC and even later than that Tom followed me as the manager. I always respected Tom's opinions even though I had many battles with him over procedures. He never once took my opinions personal and he even sometimes agreed with me!!! He was thoughtful and we always talked about my campsite near KY Speedway,Two of his favorite topics!! He liked camping and he enjoyed the camp stories I would share with him from my weekends at camp. When I had the TCC parties at my house Tom displayed his skill at cornhole and usually beat any challenger. We had many a good laugh and many, many excellant debates. (Even when he was my boss) I believe that I won many of those debates simply because I wore him down and it was easier to agree with me than to argue! He was a good listener and I am sure he had many friends who just stopped to chat with him. His passing has affected many people, but the TCC team in particular are all having a hard time believing he is gone. I will think of Tom often and my prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. Tom, please watch over your family and your TCC group and friends, until we meet again. VLW

Many prayers to your family during this very sad time. The terrible news was quite a shock, but it is not at all so to see such a pouring out from people Tom loved, cared for, or touched in some way. He was such a great person to know and will sorely be missed! May everyone that knew him find comfort in some way and take advantage of the time we have left to smile as often as Tom did.

I will never forget being so very sick just before surgery in January this year. You were so kind and understanding, and were there for me when I needed help. You always had a smile on your face, and a joke in your pocket just in case you needed to use it to cheer someone. I will forever remember watching you run in our version os the Derby... bless your heart! We really had you dressed in the worst pink get-up, but you did your best to make us proud. You are loved, Tom, and you will never be farther away than a smiling memory for any of us. I hope you have the peace that you so deserve.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Tom, a brilliant, hard-working man, always pleasant and a delight to be around. He was my supervisor at Xerox in St. Petersburg, FL for a few years. I always found Tom to be an encouragement to those around him, motivating, willing to assist in any way, and a complete joy to work alongside. I pray for peace and comfort for his wife and children, his sisters and parents, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. An amazing person, he will be sorely missed. I remember the first time I met Tom. It was 10 1/2 years ago when he interviewed me at Citi. He had me smiling and laughing through the whole interview. It was an honor to have him as a manager and a friend. He was always there for all of us and encouraged us when we needed it. I don't think I ever saw him not smiling or helping someone. He was a great man. He will be missed by many. May God bless you Tom. My prayers are with you and your family.

I will always cherish our love for fast cars. Tom and I would park next to each other every day in the parking lot of Xerox St Pete. His Trans Am... My Cobra. During a celebration at Stormins... we were talking trash and ended up going and jumping in our cars... going to the "ahem..closed" Sunshine dragstrip. Willie Alford was my passenger... and we rip snorted it up and down the strip several times. Didn't really matter who won... we just loved the adrenaline rush. Tom was my friend and smoking buddy and then became my boss up in Federal Government Operations and was the most relaxed boss... who's team strived to perform for him. His smile was more than contagious... his sense of humor was always up to par... and I will cherish all the jokes we played. Never forget the morning I got pulled over in my white GT on the Bayside bridge. ( he was currently my boss.) sitting there getting ticketed... there went Todd Booker in his vette.. Tom in his TA... each tooting their horn as they went by... obviously he knew I would be late. I walked in... went straight to his office... he was grinning... well.. what did they get you for. I spread out the tickets like a hand of cards... 11 tickets... he laughed until he choked. And... one more... was having a tough time getting the hormones balanced... was at the soda machine with 7 one dollar bills. stupid machine wouldn't take none of them.... standing there crying like an idiot... he came in the break room... "what's wrong?!" I showed him my 7 one dollar bills... " I just want a soda..."... he dug the change out of his pocket to get me a soda. LOL. One of the kindest, funniest most honest man I have met in years. The thing I admired most about him... was his love for Jeanette and the love and pride of his children. You will be sorely missed my friend. Hope you will be waiting at the line for me with your hot rod... cuz I got one more race for ya dude. Rest in peace. We love and miss you already. Watch over us all... we all can use an angel.

I met Tom when I transferred to Citi KY in 2000. He was always ready with a joke. What a big smile and a contagious laugh. A few years later, he became my boss but remained my friend. I could always pop into his office just to sit and chat. I will always remember that great party at Vickie's house. Even though he wasn't my boss for a long time, he was good one and an even better friend. Rest in peace, Tom.

Tom was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Find a picture of him without a smile and I will buy it...you won't find it. He had a zest for life. His kids were his life. The best friend you could ask for. If I needed anything, a walk across the street was all it took. Sitting in our driveway watching our kids play...those are priceless memories I will always have. Tom is now sitting in God's palm. Don't cry for Tom...he is safe in heaven. Be sad for those who knew him because we won't see that infectious smile, but carry that smile in your heart. If you do, you will smile more often than you ever have before. Tom, I lost a best friend but I picked up a new angel to watch over me. Save me a place buddy because you owe me a dollar from our last par 3 hole together. Love ya brother. Rest in peace...rest in peace.
