Obituary of Gregory Myers

Gregory Lee Myers, 54 of Walton, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a mechanic and owner of Myers Trux and Parts of Walton and was a member of the Corvette Club. Survivors include his son Austin Myers and his mother Jane Myers of Walton; mother Mary Rector Myers Miller and step-father Robert Miller of Nicholson; sister Donna Smith of Independence; brother Dr. Layne (Nancy) Myers of Macon, GA; and nephews Galen (Joan) Myers of Ft.Thomas and Blair Myers of Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Myers and Grandparents Francis and Evelyn Rector.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 11AM-1PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Graveside service will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Austin Myers Education Fund that can be made at any Bank of Kentucky.
