Jennifer, I didn't make the connection until I was reading some of the news stories. So sorry to be reaching out at such a challenging time. But my heart goes out to you. We're only about 30 minutes away. If we can help in any way, please let us know. I remember how your mom made all your riding outfits and visiting at your house when we were in high school. Jennifer, It has been years since I have spoken to you, and I am so sorry to contact you at such a tragic time in your life. You were my very best friend for many years as a child, and even though time has passed and we've not spoken I still consider you a friend. I was deeply saddened when my mom told me about your mom and dad. Memories of you and the time we spent together at school and each others homes came flooding back. One thing I'd like to share that I remember about your mom. She always made you the nicest lunches. I admired the homemade food she sent you and the attractive way she packed it. When packing cake, I remember she cut it in the middle and put the top face-down so the icing was in the middle and then icing didn't get on the wrap. I do that to this day whenever I have to pack a piece of cake. Strange the little things that make an impact on you. I just want you to know that even I, who had little contact with your mom will think of her fondly, every time I wrap a piece of cake. Try to remember that those we love live on as long as they are remembered ;and I know your mom and dad will be remembered by lots of people who cared for them and your entire family. God bless you and know that I am praying for you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

Jennifer, when I think of all the times I've listened to you talk about your Mom and Dad, I feel as if I knew them well, even though I met them only a few times.
