Obituary of Alberta Menefee

Alberta Mae Overstreet Menefee, age 89 of Warsaw, formerly of Covington, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Gallatin Health Care Center. She was a retired home healthcare worker for American Nursing Co. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Willard Menefee; sister, Martha Jobe; and brother, Clyde Overstreet.
She is survived by her loving sons, Wayne Menefee of Sparta and Bill Menefee of Ft. Mitchell as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday September 5, 2012 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm. The funeral ceremony will be at 1 pm. Burial will take place in Independence Cemetery.
Memorial donations are requested to her sons, in care of Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
