Obituary of Albert Jacobs

Albert Frank Jacobs, age 84, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, July 18th, 2012, at his residence. He was a retired Carpenter and a member of Nicholson Christian Church. Mr. Jacobs formerly owned Cherokee Texaco in Independence and worked as a Stationary Engineer for St. Luke Hospital. He was also a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge (and was a 32nd degree Mason), the Taylor Mill Lions Club, the St. Patrick's Irish Rovers Club, the Casterline Fishing Club, and the Ralph Fulton V.F.W. Post. # 6425. Frank was known for his contagious laugh and love for all. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Louise Casullo Jacobs; four sons, Albert Frank "Butch" Jacobs, Jr, Gary Nicholas Jacobs, Jerry Richard Jacobs, and Christopher Alan Jacobs; sister, Judy Baldwin; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Masonic services will begin Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
