Martha Louise Bowling Anderson, 84, of Independence, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a bookkeeper for Dixie Wholesale and loved to dance, travel, and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Anderson in 1974 and daughter Kathleen Fletcher in 2010. Survivors include her daughter Teresa(Michael) McDannold of Cincinnati; sons Arthur(Patti) Anderson and Doug(Patricia) Anderson both of Independence; sisters Jean Barger of Hamilton, OH, and Nancy Barnes of Maysville; brother Marion "Bev" (Mary) Bowling of Florida; grandchildren Brian, Brent, Krystal, Josh, Ryan, and Julia and great-grandchildren Caleb and Trenton.
Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 5 PM until time of service at 7 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence.
Memorials may be directed to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Oncology Dept. or Rosedale Manor.
