Mary Alice Connelly Rust, 80, of Walton passed away Sunday May 20, 2012 at her residence. She was a retired housekeeper and enjoyed being at home. She is preceded in death by her daughter Bambi Hagar in 1985. Survivors include her 3 daughters Belenda Poteet of Dry Ridge, Valleria Rich of Cincinnati, Kim Kidwell of Walton; sisters Lydia Mae Mullins of Florence, Janet Durr of Crittenden, Renie Roland of Florence; brothers Arthur Connelly of Crittenden, Frank Connelly of Kenton County; grandchildren Mary and Jennifer Hagar, Chandra Beach, Sean Poteet, Amanda Calhoun, Jackie Poteet, Jeremy Rich; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday May 26, 2012 from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 12PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. She will be laid to rest in Crittenden cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Elizabeth Hospice 1 Medical Village Dr. Suite 213 Edgewood, KY 41017.
