Dear Bev and Roy, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I know that your family is very close; I remember that from HS. I hope the memories will ease the hurt. My Dad has been gone for more than 20 years and I miss him every day but he remembering him brings joy, humor, and love to my life. Dear Bev, Elaine just called me with the news of your Dad's passing. Please accept my condolences. I know how hard it is to lose your Dad, but remember how lucky you were to have such a good father. Your Mom and Dad were the roots of a wonderful family. When Elaine and I visited with you in high school, we knew you had a family that loved each other. Losing your Dad will be hard, and it will hurt for a long time, but you will have all the great memories of your Dad and the fun times you had together. Our Dad's been gone for over 30 years, and I still miss him. But that's not all bad, because in missing him, I remember him and how much he loved us. Your Dad loved you, your Mom, and Scott, Glenn, and Roy. As long as you remember that, you'll be fine. Bev, you, your Mom, Scott Glenn, Roy, and your families will be in my prayers.
