Obituary of Ausma Temple

Ausma Sumner Temple, age 60, of Florence, formerly of Owenton, died Friday, at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was a Senior Analyst for the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years and a member of Big Bone Baptist Church. She enjoyed riding Arabian horses and loved flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Temple II in 2009; and brother, Luther Sumner, Jr. in 1989. Survivors include her daughter, Angela E. Stacy; son, James E. Temple, III; brothers, Charles Sumner and Marlin Sumner; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence, with the funeral service following at 12 noon at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Taylor Mill. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 41017.
