Obituary of Danny Joe Mayes

Danny Joe Mayes, 58, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a security guard with Securitas and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include brothers, Charles Mayes of Sparta and Larry Mayes of Cary, N.C.; and sisters, Brenda Brown of Powderly, Rita Courtney of Cary, N.C., Regina Mayes and Karen Angel, both of Walton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
