I will miss ( Shoe ) very much. I worked with Gary for many years and considered him a very good friend. Often we would talk in the parking lot after a days work. Please accept my sincere condolences. He will be missed. May God give you peace.
Dear Sondra and Family: I hope you remember us. Our family lived across the street from yours years ago when we lived on Faber Ave. in Westwood. We were deeply saddended to hear of Gary's death. My mother in law Bernice Shelby used to work with you at the Price Hill Nursing Home. She sends her sympathy as well. Gary was one of the hardest workers Tony and I'd ever had the pleasure of knowing. He did such a beautiful job on your old house. I know we have lost touch over the years but you remain in our prayers and thoughts. May God bless you and your familiy during this difficult time. Sue,Tony, Sarah, Ann and Steve Shelby
Sondra, I have tried to write this a couple of times now and I can't express in words how sorry that I am. I even begin to imagine what you are feeling. I pray that God can send you comfort during this time. Ruthie
Sondra and family- I cannot say in words how sorry I am to hear of your loss. It is simply unimaginable to me! I will not be able to attend the visitation or service as I am leaving to go out of town tonight, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong. Tina
To the Shoemaker Family, I want to express my most sincere and heartfelt sorrow to you on the surprised passing of Gary. I was a co-worker of Gary for 11 years at Metro, as well as a friend and team mate of Gary for maybe 15 years. The news of his passing really hit home. Gary was and is going to be remembered as a great guy. I wish I could be there in person, but I work nights and could not get off. Please accept my condolences. John Piening
It is with great regret that I learn about the passing of Gary. While not well known by many he was, no doubt, respected by all. I had worked with him for many years and spoke with him often. It is hard to believe that he is now gone. I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the friends and family. You shall remain in my thoughts and prayers. Doug
