Obituary of Edna Mae Ryan

Edna Mae Hensley Ryan, 75, of Newport, died Tuesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Corbin. A son, John Slavey, died in 1984.
Survivors include daughters, Doris Hodgson of Walton, Dora Kammerer of Fort Thomas and Debra Hicks of Paducah; a son, David Humphrey of London; a brother, Odra Martin of London; a sister, Clara Liford of Corbin; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
