Michael E. Malone of Burlington, age 48, passed away on October 19, 2024, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on May 24, 1976, to the late Alice Marie {Antonson} and John Joseph Malone. Michael was a veteran having proudly served his country for 12 years in the United States Coast Guard as a Marine Science Technician. He was currently employed as an Environmental Health and Safety Director. Michael enjoyed listening to music, singing, and playing the guitar. He was the most loving husband, father, and most recently, grandfather. He reminded his family each day how much he loved them, and they will always carry his love in their hearts. Michael had a great sense of humor. His laid back, easy going presence will for ever be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karma Malone; his beloved daughter, Alicia and her husband, Chad Lester; his siblings, Melissa Marie (Raul) Gonzalez, Kathy Jo Malone, and John William (Kristina) Malone; his granddaughter, Lillian Lester; as well as several other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

A committal service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097. To share a memory, or to leave an online condolence to his family, please visit the tribute wall.
