Q: What will you miss most about John?
A: John and my son worked together years ago at northkey. A great friendship. We moved to independence and ran into John next-door to a house i was getting old deck boards. They spotted each other and John started calling Michael just to talk from time to time. He was a good person. Sad to hear of this. Missed the funeral but want to find his grave and pay respects still. Rest in peace John.
He was a great person that I’ve got to know and funny he always made your day rather you were upset or mad that who John was but even when you were happy he still like to make you laugh just for no reason I’m glad I got the pleasure to meet John and on the field with John for Grant County fireball softball you will be very deeply miss my friend til next time John Fireball 38
Kathy & John - I was so sad to see this. My mind had so many flashbacks of him as a boy at Visalia. We shared a lot with our kids there. He was such a good kid - and though we’ve gone our ways since they’ve grown - I’m sure he was the same sweet talkative John. I will remember the last time I saw him and talked to him. Praying for you all holding you close in thought.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of John?
A: John was so friendly and always took time to stop and ask how we were doing. He would tell us what he had planned for the weekend. Just a kind and friendly man who knew everyone and enjoyed talking to everyone in his neighborhood.
Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of John?
A: John loved to fish (especially at their new lake house”. He would tell you about his latest catch and always talked his latest fishing adventures. He loved bowling and the friends he had there. Most of all, he was the unelected Mayor of Maple Ridge…He walked the neighborhood and shared the latest news with all of us. He loved people.
