Obituary of Daniel Schooley Hall
Daniel Schooley Hall, age 88, of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Ashford of Mount Washington in Cincinnati, OH. Daniel was a retired Foreman for H.B. Fuller Company and later in life worked at the Cincinnati Zoo at the Elephant House (a job he loved!). He loved all sports, but especially enjoyed golfing, fishing and running marathons, and he was quite the dancer. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Daniel was very patriotic.
Preceding Dan in death were his parents, John Thomas Hall and Pearl Rebecca Schooley Hall, and his son Daniel “Steven” Hall. He is survived by his children, Douglas Scott Hall (Donda), David S. Hall, Deanna S. Damon (Maury), Denise S. Dungan (Jerry); grandchildren, Maleah Jo Street (Lee), Sarah Lynn Burnett (Mark), Lora Tevis Nicole Hall, Katelyn Jo Burroughs (Wes), Tiffany Cole (Luke), Brandon S. Ponder (Mandi), Danielle Mason (Bill), Kelly Gindele (Eric), and Christina Hall (T.J.); and twelve great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 7, 2024, at 12 p.m., at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials may be made to Cincinnati Zoo Elephant House (Feed the Elephants).
