My sincere condolences to Lori's entire family. She was a remarkable young woman. Her smile and infectious laughter brightened the atmosphere wherever she went. As the First Baseman for the Simon Kenton Pioneer Softball Team, she was an inspiration and role model to every member of the team. She gained notoriety across Northern Kentucky with her trademark sunglasses earning her the nickname, Lori "Hollywood" Simpson. Her amazing defensive skills at first base earned her numerous accolades, and her solid and consistent hitting made her an asset to be counted on every game. Heaven is a little brighter with her entry into the Kingdom of Heaven. She has left an indelible mark on all of us that were fortunate enough to call her a friend.
