I just heard the news of Bill 's passing on 8/12/24 from a sister in Christ. I met Bill and Sue at Christ Chapel around 1997. We met for small groups in their home. I've never met a couple so full of love for God and his people. My life is better because of knowing them and their faith.
What a legacy he has left on earth. He was a true man of God. Strength and peace be with his family as they grieve his passing from earth to heaven. Until we meet again!

Bill it was great to meet you and get to know you and your family. Still remember when I organized that first Bible study group at your home and it eventually turned into a church. What an awesome thing! You and your family are in my prayers. God bless you!

During a Bible study or just a visit, you knew you were in the presence of a couple who loved each other and our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We have fond memories of our time together in this life and look forward to the next eternal life before the face of God.

I've had the priviledge of knowing Bill for over 55 years! He was truly a man of God! All who knew him were welcomed into his home and into his heart. Bill and I had great rememberances over the years, even as close as last Thanksgiving. We shared many memories. I will miss him and I pray his dear wife, Sue, will have peace knowing he's in Heaven paving the way for the rest of us!

Bill was one of the finest men I had the pleasure to know. His kindness and caring for others was definitely known by all. I know he is Heaven with God looking down on all of us. My deepest sympathy to his wonderful wife Sue and his two Sons Craig and Leith that are wonderful young men and their families. God Bless each and everyone of them.

It's hard to come up with just one memory. He was my Uncle most of my life. I remember his blue Corvette from when I was ,7. He took good care of it. But most of all he was always there for my husband, Donnie, whenever he needed him thru the years. When my husband was dying, in the hospital, he and Aunt Sue came and gave him comfort. They never hesitated. God bless them with love for both of them. We were lucky he was in our life. He always has a smile for everyone. And he always made me smile and gave me love. I will surely miss him.

An absolutely wonderful man of God. He led my husband, James Philpot to Salvation and married us on a Monday night in a church full of wonderful strangers who stood together to bless our marriage. 17 years later we still look at the picture on our mantel of Bill and his beautiful wife Sue. Thank God for those who follow God’s calling. May he rest in peace and joined with the Lord. “I can only imagine, what it will be like, when I walk by Your side”. Praise Jesus for Salvation.
