Obituary of Shawn Deatherage

Shawn Christopher Deatherage, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12th, 2024. Born July 3rd, 1970 in Covington, KY, he was the son of William “Sonny” Deatherage and Juanita (nee Engle) Brown. Shawn loved to work with his hands and spent much of his career as a self-employed carpenter. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars and was extremely handy.

Shawn is preceded in death by his father, William “Sonny” Deatherage.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita (nee Engle) Brown; his aunts Maybelle Engle and Charlotte Brown; his best friend and cousin Jeffery Engle; cousins Amy, Natasha, Amanda, Joe, Glenda, Janet, and Michelle; siblings William and Tanya; nephew Cory; good friend Jackie Young; and many others who will miss him dearly.
