Obituary of Mary Mildred Popp

Mary Mildred Popp, 91, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Independence, died Feb. 1 at St. Joseph Care Center, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a retired teacher with Kenton County Schools and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Her husband, Forest G. Popp, died in 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Messingschlager of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice Care, 5420 NW 33rd Ave., Suite 100, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 33309.
Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
