Obituary of Robert "Bob" B. Schull

Robert “Bob” B. Schull, 56, of Independence, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. The son of the late Robert and Charlotte {Pennywitt} Schull, Bob was born in Fort Dix, NJ, on September 9, 1967. He married the love of his life, Dana {Smith} on May 5, 2019.

To know Bob was to love him. He was a loving, devoted husband and the perfect father, but his favorite title was Pop Pops. Bob enjoyed working on anything with an engine. His favorite day was Sunday where he got to enjoy time with his wife, kids and grandbabies. He was an amazing mentor and role model to his family and friends. If something needed fixed you could always rely on him to come save the day. He was a selfless man that always put others before himself. Bob worked hard to be the best at everything he did and he always succeeded.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dana Schull; children Caleb (Megan) Saylor, Brent (Kaylee) Schull, Kyleigh (Kyle) Coomer, Morgan Schull, and Trace Pruitte; grandsons Colson Coomer, Hudson Schull, and Tucker Schull; sister Patsy Schull; and his dogs Marley, Doodle, and Remi.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Charlotte Schull. A visitation will be held between 1 PM and 4 PM with a celebration of life service to immediately follow at 4 PM on Sunday, March 10th at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Schull Scholarship Fund in C/O Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, which will be used for the benefit of Bob’s three grandsons.
