Obituary of Geraldine Marksberry Beagle

Geraldine Marksberry Beagle of Covington, age 86, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was born and raised in Covington, KY to the late Rosella {Hicks} Marksberry and Harry Marksberry on May 21, 1937. Geraldine worked for several years and then shifted her focus to making a house a home after she married her beloved, Bobby. She loved animals and always kept a four-legged canine companion in her home. Geraldine loved to attend parties and family get togethers, and as she became older, she enjoyed keeping up with everyone on Facebook. In her spare time, she liked to go bowling, play Euchre, Bingo, and scratch offs, and loved listening to country music. She had a unique and sometimes stubborn personality that made her so adored by her family. She was a wonderful and caring aunt who will be for ever cherished.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph “Bobby” Beagle, and her siblings, Earl Marksberry, Leonard Marksberry, Bill Marksberry, Pete Marksberry, Loraine Duncan, Kate Williams, and Buck Marksberry.

She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews, even great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and her little man, Oscar.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Geraldine will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. A celebration of life will be held immediately after she is laid to rest at the VFW Post 6095, 343 E 47th St. Latonia, KY 41015.
