Wayne and Barbara and I were in the same Sunday School Class when we were teenagers. I especially remember his FAST 1960 brand new Pontiac, which he was very proud of. We both shared that love for cars, and also we both worked at Proctor & Gamble and amazingly we each worked for the company for over 30 years before retiring. The Shell Family was key in the Pentecostal Church. My Dad, Ben Deaton, and his uncle, Pastor Chester Shell were the best of friends. Our prayers go out to Barb and The Family. My first memory of Bro. Wayne was being new at CFC and him and Sis. Barb treated us like family right away. They both are beautiful souls. Wayne you will be missed by many. Sending love and prayers to Barb and the family. Praying God gives you comfort and peace. Love you all.

Wayne forever holds a very special and precious place within my heart! He was, and forever will remain, a tremendous inspiration to my life. Elder Wayne and sis Barb met me thru the dinners after 6pm church service on Sundays at Laroses. We bonded because I started ordering his favorite drink, Cherry coke with extra grenadine every time we would go out. I called Elder my little drinking Buddy. I will miss him and his kind spirit.
