Obituary of Tom Seifert

Tom Seifert, 70, of Walton, KY, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. The son of the late Anthony Seifert and Roberta {Marqua} Kirsch, Tom was born in Covington, KY on January 27, 1953. 

Tom had the greatest sense of humor and was known for being the life of the party. He kept everything light-hearted and had such a positive outlook on life. Tom enjoyed fishing and camping at Camp Turnabout in Union. He most of all treasured the time spent with his grandchildren and taking them out on boating trips on the Ohio River. 

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Diane Seifert; stepson Shaun Hite; grandchildren Corey Hite, Haley Hite, and Tyler Hite; great-grandbaby River Douglas; and brother Tony Seifert.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister Sheila Shaw. 

A visitation will be held between 10 AM and 11 AM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 11 AM on Saturday, December 2nd at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. He will be inurned at Saint John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by clicking here.
