Obituary of Gerald A. Fulkerson

Gerald Fulkerson passed away at the age of 86 on November 1, 2023. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was a long-time resident of the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He worked many years in sales and enjoyed meeting new people on his travels. He was well known for his loud and infectious laugh and entertaining friends and family (and sometimes strangers) with his endless supply of stories and jokes. He loved visiting casinos, playing poker and golf, and watching football. He spent a good portion of his retirement on his deck cheering on the golfers as they played the 15^th hole on the golf course behind his home. Family was very important to him and his extended family included relatives far and wide and long-term friends. He was skilled at making people feeling welcome wherever he was.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Mary Lou Fulkerson and he was a devoted father to his children Terri Holderith (Mark), Tony Fulkerson, Patty Fulkerson (Vibodh Chandhok) and Michael Fulkerson,  devoted grandfather to Benj Chandhok, Zach Chandhok, Bana Holderith and Sammy Chandhok, and devoted great-grandfather to Riya and Leena Chandhok.  

In addition to his parents, Carl and Lee Fulkerson, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Fulkerson; sisters, Judy Lindsey-Fry and Carol Chase.
