John Jones, 58, of Florence, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of the late John and Evelyn {Farmer} Jones, John was born in Florence on July 6, 1965. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was currently employed at Forge Lumber.

In his spare time, John enjoyed riding his motorcycles and going on turkey shoots. He was a former member of the Kentucky Motorcycle Association.

Those that are left to carry on John’s legacy are his three sons, Kyle Jones, Brody Jones, and Mason Jones; and stepdaughters Katelyn Hilligoss and Madelyn Hilligoss.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ann {Harris) Jones.
