Obituary of Trevia Gale Klette Cooke
Trevia Gale Klette Havicus Cooke, 79, of Independence, KY, was born November 1, 1943, baptized in 1952, and passed away October 6, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Paul Klette and Christina Chapman Klette. Survivors include her children, Lucinda Fleet and Rebecca Jo Cooke; sister Aleathea Crozier, grandchildren, James Fleet, Timothy Fleet, and Brianna Cooke; nephews, Brian Thomas Crozier, Timothy David Crozier, Joe Havicus, and Sandy Hall, great niece, Jessica McNeil, great nephew, Ricky McNeil, and her beloved cat, Precious. Trevia was employed at Arlans for 8 ½ years, F.W. Dodge for 31 ½ years, and IRS for 13 years, before her retirement. She was a member of Nicholson Christian Church since 1986. As a child, Trevia loved going to her aunt’s farm and would ride the Greyhound bus by herself. She started with 4-H as a young adult, and continued serving as a council member, committee member, Club Leader and worked on the Kenton County Fair Board until her passing. Trevia also enjoyed crocheting afghans for every member of her family. Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow at 12 p.m. at Nicholson Christian Church, 1970 Walton Nicholson Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Nicholson Christian Church or the Kenton County 4-H, 10990 Marshall Rd., Covington, KY 41015.
