Obituary of William R. Edmondson

William R. Edmondson, age 92, of Erlanger, KY passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bill worked for the Ford Motor Company as a Machinist for 30+yrs., upon retiring. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a long-time member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Past President for Simon Kenton Athletic Booster from 1985-1987, he also would assist in hauling band equipment to many Simon Kenton competitions, was a 33^rd degree Mason with the Glencoe Masonic Lodge, but most of all, he cherished spending time with his beloved family. 

Bill was born on September 5, 1931, to the late Walter and Lucy (nee: Wharton) Edmondson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61yrs., Allyen (nee: Cook) Edmondson, brother, George Edmondson, and sister, Betty Edmondson Rider. William is survived by his loving children, Gina (Jim) Taylor, Carla (Alexis) Rocco, and Anthony (Vickie) Edmondson, grandchildren, Allison, Kevin, Nicholas, Brendan, Ashley, Rowdy, Krystal, Mya, Curtis, Jason, Jesse and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brothers in law Paul (Janet) Cook and Bobby (Peggy) Cook. 

Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9:30am to 11:00am with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00am at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6056 Taylor Mill Rd., Covington, KY 41015. Burial will be at New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials contributions may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church Joy Group.
