Obituary of Jaime Dee Sexton

Jaime Sexton, age 47, most recently of Florence, KY passed away unexpectedly after a long illness at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, KY on August 26th, 2023.  Born on September 26th, 1975, she was the daughter of James Douglas Sexton and Shirley [Lyons] Brown.

Jaime attended Conner High School and graduated from Newport High School. She studied to be a cosmetologist, but ultimately her path led her into a different sector of the service industry – dining. Jaime loved taking care of her customers at O’Charley’s, Red Lobster, and Arby’s.  Jaime enjoyed scary movies and doing elaborate makeup looks for herself and others. If Jaime could be a color, she would be all of them and bright! She adored unicorns and glitter. This caring, loving, and funny lady will remain forever young. 

Jaime was preceded in death by her parents, her maternal grandparents Dorothy and James Lyons; her paternal grandparents Henry and Thelma Sexton; as well as her uncles Bill Sexton and Pat Sexton. Jaime was sister to Tina Sexton and Nicole Teten; niece to Debra Luebbe (Larry) and Phyllis Lyons; niece and god-daughter to Melanie Sexton.  Jaime loved being an aunt to Justin Mefford, Makenzie Williams, Kayla Teten, Casey Teten, and Cody Teten.  She was also a cherished friend and close relative to many others.

A visitation will be held for Jaime on Saturday, September 2^nd, 2023 at Chambers & Grubbs, 8461 US 25, Florence, KY 41042. Please come and share stories and memories of Jaime from 4:00PM – 6:00PM.  On Wednesday, September 6^th, 2023, at 1:00 PM Jaime will be laid to rest next to beloved family at Mother Of God Cemetery, 3125 Madison Ave, Latonia, KY 41015.
