Obituary of Frances Marie Witt

Frances Marie Witt, age 79, of Independence, KY passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Charter Senior Living in Edgewood, KY surrounded by her loving family. Frances was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dillard Douglas Witt, Jr in 2014 along with her brothers, Rodger, James and Glenn Kelly. Frances leaves behind her loving sons, Douglas S. Witt and Steve P. (Lenae) Witt along with her brother, Bruce Kelly and granddaughter, Cassidy Nicole Witt. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, KY from 10 AM until 12 PM with funeral service to follow at 12 PM. Burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, KY. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org).
