Obituary of Kenneth Charles Weber

Kenneth Charles Weber, 83, of Union, KY, and former resident of Bellevue, KY, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. The son of the late Albert and Ethel {Ewing} Weber, Kenneth was born in Dayton, KY, on June 27, 1940. He proudly served in the United States Airforce and retired from Proctor & Gamble as a Pilot after 26 years of service. He also enjoyed the experience of piloting James Brown. He married the love of his life, Phyllis {Powell} on November 4, 1977.

Kenneth and Phyllis resided on Pine Island, FL for 28 years before making their way back to their home state of Kentucky in 2021. Leading an adventurous life, Kenneth loved to camp and travel all over the world with his wife. He raced boats, motorcycles, and cars and also enjoyed flying planes; he proudly held the title as ‘Captain Weber.’ He was a member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club. Kenneth enjoyed cooking, eating, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Phyllis Weber; nephews David Weber, Matt (Amy) Feldmann, Kevin (Bethany) Feldmann, Andy (Laura) Feldmann, Steve (Kate) Feldmann, and John Robert Feldmann; nieces Christi (Coy) Cox, Patti (Greg) Hergott, Andrea Feldmann, Sally (Mack) Werner, and Karla (Alex) Aguera; brothers-in-law David (Judy) Feldmann and Dan (Cathy) Feldmann; and many great nieces and nephews whom he cherished deeply.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers Doug Weber, Keith Weber, and David Weber; brothers-in-law Donald Feldmann and Richard Feldmann; and sister-in-law Tressie Lewis.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life (open house) at a later date and Kenneth will be inurned at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY. Kenneth believed in the power of education and started the pilot program at Grandview Elementary School, providing iPads for the students.
