My name is Tracy, and Amanda and I are best friends. Let me add to that a little bit….I also played the roll of “ Big Sister “ when Amanda needed a talking to. I’ve known Amanda for 15 years. I first met Amanda not long after her first stroke.
Because of the miles between us, we mostly talked on the phone and text. When Amanda got stronger and could drive again, she would come to Cincinnati on Saturdays. We would go to church and a lot of festivals. We shared a love for country music. One of my fondest memories with her was driving in the car singing Kenny Chesney’s song “ Summertime “ That song will always make me think of her. Even after I moved to Columbus in 2016 there was rarely a day that we didn’t talk or text. A friendly good morning, how did you sleep, an afternoon hello, how’s your day going, and a good night I love you to end the day with. Amanda, Your memory is my keepsake from which I will never part God has you in his keeping, and I have you in my heart.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
