Dana Simmons, 55, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. The daughter of the late Kay Marples and Roy Brewster Sr., Dana was born in Oakland, California on December 7, 1967.

In her spare time, Dana enjoyed painting, gardening, and spending time with her grandson, Jayce.

Dana will be deeply missed by her children Blake Simmons and Katessa Simmons; brothers Lance Collins and Dillon Brewster; sister Roscella Trumble; and two grandchildren Christopher and Jayce.

In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her brother Roy Brewster Jr., and her partner Russell “Rusty” Durham.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Wilmington Baptist Cemetery in Demossville.
