Mrs. Kim thank you for sharing Mr. Welch with us. Both of you have been an important part of our VA family. The Recreation Therapy /Creative Arts Therapy group and his friends at the CLC will greatly miss him. In looking thru photos today i am reminded of how active Roger was and willing to try many new experiences. He had many loves in his life including BINGO, The Beatles, Music, Boccia, Cards, Outings and time with friends and family. His greatest love was his wife, Roger did not miss a day in expressing his love and gratitude to Kim. He appreciated her unconditional love, daily support and care, the homecooked meals and McDonalds cheeseburger :)
Today I posted his beautiful obituary, photos and turned on the music box (thank you Nancy for the great idea, he loved his music player) for the Residents and staff to pay tribute. The first song to play on the music box was "Yesterday" , how fitting.
May Prayers and beautiful memories be a source of comfort.
