Obituary of Billy Boyers

Billy Boyers Jr., 73, of Walton, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired supervisor with Triangle/Equitable Bag Co., owner of Boyers Water Service and a deacon and treasurer of First Baptist Church of Walton. He was an Army veteran. His wife, Norma Jenkins Boyers, died in 2005. Survivors include daughters, Debbie Gaines and Vicki Benton, both of Walton; a son, Donnie Boyers of Morning View; a sister, Dorothy Showalter of Crittenden; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Walton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Turner Ridge Cemetery, Falmouth. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, 47 S. Main St., Walton, Ky. 41094.
