Obituary of John Charles Kijowski, Jr.
John Charles Kijowski, Jr., 66, of Independence, KY, passed away peacefully Monday, May 1, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. John was born December 22, 1956, in North Tonawanda, NY to the late John Charles and Helen (nee: Talandziewicz) Kijowski, Sr. He was a lover of all sports, especially the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. In his spare time John enjoyed listening to music, being with family and friends and was a devout Catholic. He is survived by his loving partner of 19 years, Mary Orr, brother, David (Marie) Kijowski, sister, Kathy (Frank) Magliarditi and brother in laws, Raymond (Eric) Orr and Steve (Kim) Shaw. He also leaves behind his best friend of 61 years, Jim Lachut along with his niece, nephew, grandnephew, cousins and two aunts. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later.
